[Hey guys.

So, I know I haven't said anything since June. Well, to be honest, I didn't really feel like posting anything here since this blog is considered an "old-fashioned way of communicating". But oh well. I feel the need to continue my blog for as long as possible. I'm not gonna give up this blog unless I have a very good reason. I guess I'm just trying to commit to something for once rather than abandoning it halfway.

Okay let's see. Where to start?

Well, I've been listening to the Hail To The King album from Avenged Sevenfold and in my opinion, I think it's the best album that they've produced so far. Maybe because I'm partial to 80's rock music and the HTTK album has a sort of 80's feel to it. It's...how shall I put this?...more melodic than previous A7X albums. I just hope their future albums will be equally melodic.

Just discovered another melodic rock song (albeit by accident). It's called Roar by a band named Treat. I stumbled on a guitar cover of the song while looking for the guitar cover of Katy Perry's Roar. When I first heard the song I was like "wow, great tune." Over the next couple of minutes I became obsessed with the song and was listening to it non-stop. I guess that's how it's now my number one melodic rock song in my playlist (for now).

Been playing lots of Halo 4 War Games recently, 'cause it's still the holidays. I gotta say, raising my previous rank by 10 levels in a week was a pretty huge achievement for me 'cause it I've never done it before. So, yay me! But the one thing that irritates the shit out of me is that very often the credits I've spent unlocking all the weapons and perks all reset and that also affects my loadouts. Someone should really fix that bug because it's a pain in the ass to re-assign all the perks and weapons to their respective loadouts.

I also bought GTA 5, just to see what the fuss was all about. I was reading the reviews and was expecting it to be a hell of a game but I have to say, it's kinda boring. The entire play area is frickin' huge. It took me 3 hours real-time just to drive from one end of the map to the other. Now, I know some of you might be like "since when does travelling through the whole map take so long?" Well, for one thing, I've never played a game in the Grand Theft Auto series before so I wouldn't know. Maybe it's because you guys are used to the big maps and all but I sure as hell ain't. Second of all, I hate flying the planes in Los Santos. I guess I'm used to the Ace Combat style controls and can't really get used to flying in GTA 5. I guess I'm just picky about my games.

What else?

Oh. Agents of Shield is shaping up to be a really good series to follow. It couldn't have come at a better time because How I Met Your Mother is coming to an end soon and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a replacement TV show to dedicate to. The storylines are so exciting, I just can't wait for the next episodes to air.

Looks like Bones and Booth are FINALLY gonna tie the knot. After 8 freakin' seasons. Okay that's not fair. Booth was gonna marry Bones in season 8 finale when that snake Christopher Pelant sabotaged his plans. Not only did he try to ruin friendships, in his final days he tried to get Bones to develop a kind of Stockholm Syndrome for him. Well, at least now that genius-level, IT hacking bastard is dead, although his death was slightly anti-climatic. Now, Bones and Booth can finally be together. Yesssss!

Dragons: Defenders of Berk is a nice follow-up of Riders of Berk. Looks like Alvin and his Outcasts are gearing up for war against Hiccup and the rest of the gang. And it looks like he's gonna use the dragons as his weapon. Hopefully there'll be some epic dragon battles in the episodes to come. Can't wait!
